Prime brisket
Fatty, lean, or a little of both
Red River Street spirit · Downtown Austin, Texas
Pepper-crusted brisket. Guitars in the courtyard. Burnt orange on Saturdays. A little rough around the edges, with a whole lot of downtown Austin soul.
Low & slow by day.
Turned up after dark.
The courtyard stage / Live on Red River
Weathered brick, warm lights and a band close enough to feel. The imagined music yard brings the spirit of downtown Austin’s independent stages into the smokehouse.

Illustrative programming. No live shows or ticket sales.
BLUES / ROOTS / ROCK
Electric guitars, slow-cooked plates and the kind of courtyard set that turns dinner into a whole night.
AMERICANA / TEXAS ROCK
A roots-and-rock showcase with room for new sounds, familiar friends and one more song.
ACOUSTIC / SONGWRITERS
An easier afternoon: acoustic sets, shared platters and stories between the songs.
A smokehouse dining room and bar flow into an open-air music courtyard with picnic tables, a standing area near the stage and strings of warm light overhead.

Longhorn Saturdays
We support the Texas Longhorns. Loudly.
Burnt orange belongs at this table. Picture the game on the big screen, brisket and ribs for the crew, cold drinks in hand and an Austin crowd cheering every Texas touchdown.
Shareable brisket, ribs and sausage with classic sides.
A watch-party patio that carries into the evening music yard.
Fictional fan concept. No real watch parties, broadcasts or university affiliation are represented.
The pit
Red River BBQ imagines a downtown smokehouse and music yard rooted in the street that inspired its name. Old-school Central Texas barbecue up front. A live stage, long tables and a late-night Austin rhythm out back.
The pit runs on post oak and patience. Salt, pepper and a steady fire do the heavy lifting. The music may get loud, but the barbecue still gets the time it deserves. Order a spread, find your people and settle in for the next set.
Inspired by Red River Street / Downtown Austin
The name comes from downtown’s Red River Street: independent music, late-night energy and places with a personality all their own. This concept puts a Texas smokehouse and a live-music courtyard in that same frame of mind.
An imagined venue, with no physical address or operating restaurant.
Illustrative kitchen: Thursday–Sunday, 11 AM until sold out. Sample courtyard sets are listed above; all times are Austin local time.
Imagine a courtyard celebration, a team watch party or a shared barbecue dinner. Events and catering are concept services only.
